We are all consumed with images of beautiful interiors by the masses. The living rooms are staged with every fluffed pillow in place. Every kitchen is beautifully designed with out an object of food in sight. These images are inspiring, but to see a home being used, lived in, a bit out of order can sometimes be just as appealing.

All the pictures looked like some lives so happily in them! I love that!
ReplyDeleteThe lived in look is more realistic and warm. Much better than the perfect pics for sure.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blog! Now following..

Heather, you have taught me to see the beauty in the imperfect, lived in room.

Amen. I have also been thinking lately of how seeing real people in these rooms can make them so much more interesting. Will have to start saving some images, if I can find more than three!
