If the Shade Fits and Guest Blogging

Like I promised here is a picture of my new black lampshade. I didn't get to all the clean laundry on the bed so I took a close up of the guest room side table.  Sorry for the not so impressive photo, but by the time I got home last night it was dark.  Not the best light but you get the idea.  I like how the shade seems to ground the vignette.

Guest Nest

During the Holiday's Matt and I always have a ton of family and friends that come for a visit. We love having guests! This time of year always makes me think about the guest room. Is it suitable for our loved one's? Is the bed comfortable or more importantly warm enough? Is it calming? I want our guests to feel like they are at a cozy bed and breakfast! Here are a few pics of our guest bedroom. Let me know if you see something we need to add to the "Guest Nest?" And then some inspiring guest bedrooms pictures that make me want to be a live in guest.
