Hope you all had a fantastic 4th! Here in Portland, the sun was shinning and the steaks were cooking. Every year we have a big block party with all our neighbors and friends. It is so nice to be apart of a community of families our own age. As soon as the sun goes down we start our very own firework show! Doing it that way, we have the best seat in town. What made the 4th even better this year is that my Dad was visiting from California. Hence the lack of posts last week. To be honest, I don't post as much in the Summer, it is only nice 3 months out of the year in Oregon and we try to take advantage of every moment!

sounds like a lovely holiday! I love block parties I used to go to them when I was a kid and can't wait till we live somewhere where we can do them again!
