What's Up On the Home Front

I interrupt design posts with a bit of exciting news.  Matt & I are adopting!  We started the process a few months ago, but enjoyed keeping it to ourselves for a bit.  It was nice to have the time for it to sink in before we started sharing the news.  We are adopting a little boy from Ethiopia.  He will be between 2 and 9 months old.  We are traveling to Ethiopia not once, but twice this coming year!  It has been our prayer for the last 3 years to grow our family, but it wasn't in the cards for us.  God obviously had other plans because as soon as we decided to adopt, all the pain, hurt, and stress of trying for so many years disappeared!  Matt and I have never been more happy!

We look forward to filling these boots with cute little feet! If you would like to stay informed on our journey, I added a link on the right hand colum.

xo,
Heather

  6. Hi there! first off, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :D This is so exciting!! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! Yes, we are an AGCI family! Mareto came home from Hannah's Hope and now we're adopting from Ethiopia again! We're using AGCI again this time too! So neat that you found me through Industrial Cottage... they're our neighbors and we serve together at the same church! haha Small world! The blog you came by is actually my old blog. I only posted the giveaway there because I haven't gotten all my followers transferred to my new place and I didn't want anyone to miss out. So, here's my new blog: www.laurencasper.com - I post there regularly. :) Great to connect with you!!
