Bedroom Installation Part 1 - Reading Nook

The winner is....

I decided on this chair from Overstock.  I am really really happy with my decision.  The chair is the perfect scale for the space. I love the piping and the fabric has a lot of texture being a nubby oatmeal.  It leans on the modern side which I like. It is very comfortable and the price was comfortable too.  The chair was originally 200 bucks.  I ordered it when it was 20 % off and then went online to look for coupon codes.  I found a coupon code for free shipping and 15% off total order!  I purchased the chair for a little over 100 bucks!!! Makes me love it even more.
Here it is in our bedroom...

We already had the lamp and the table was a World Market score on Black Friday.

I added the faux fur pillow for Fall/Winter but look forward to adding a pop of color in the Spring.
I will share Installation Part 2 when I add some photos on the wall and accessories.  A little green plant and jewelry dish is the plan for the side table.
I have been starring at this corner for 4 years in our bedroom.  It is so nice to cross a project off the list. We are diligently trying to get projects done before the babe comes.  I have a feeling when Collin arrives, I might not be too interested in projects ;)

  1. looks great! I love it.Perfect spot for reading with a little one.

  2. Looks fabulous! PS I love you new picture!!

  3. Love this sooo much, and it's all so much better because it didn't break the bank. Great job!! P.S. So excited to hear more about Colin!

  4. Yay! I like this so much better now that the one you were originally considering. You paired it perfectly with the wooden side table and the floor lamp. Gosh, and WHAT a deal.

  5. very very nice! def enjoying the chair (and the color)!
